Who we are
We Believe . . .
Calvary is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LC-MS). With the universal Christian Church, The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod teaches and responds to the love of the Triune God: the Father, creator of all that exists; Jesus Christ, the Son, who became human to suffer and die for the sins of all human beings and to rise to life again in the ultimate victory over death and Satan; and the Holy Spirit, who creates faith through God's Word and Sacraments. The three persons of the Trinity are coequal and coeternal, one God.
ScriptureBeing "Lutheran," our congregation accepts and teaches Bible-based teachings of Martin Luther that inspired the reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century. The teaching of Luther and the reformers can be summarized in three short phrases: Grace alone, Faith alone, Scripture alone.
Grace alone
God loves the people of the world, even though they are sinful, rebel against Him and do not deserve His love. He sent Jesus, His Son, to love the unlovable and save the ungodly.
Faith alone
By His suffering and death as the substitute for all people of all time, Jesus purchased and won forgiveness and eternal life for them. Those who hear this Good News and believe it have the eternal life that it offers. God creates faith in Christ and gives people forgiveness through Him.
Scripture alone
The Bible is God's inerrant and infallible Word, in which He reveals His Law and His Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ. It is the sole rule and norm for Christian doctrine. Holy Scripture, the 66 canonical books of the Bible is the only source and standard of teaching in our church.

Calvary Lutheran Church operates a preschool program for 3 and 4 year old children.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our Lord Jesus Christ says in Matthew 28:19-20, “Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizingSanta photo them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost; teaching them to observe all things what so ever I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always even unto the ends of the World.” In keeping with the command of Christ, Calvary Lutheran Church has established a Christian School.
The mission of Calvary Lutheran School is to offer a Christian environment in which young children can grow and learn. It is our desire to help them develop physically, emotionally, socially and mentally as well as to strengthen their spiritual lives. We believe that the church life and mission includes assisting parents in the development of their children. The school is one branch of the congregation in furthering this belief.
OBJECTIVES
1. To teach God’s Word related to the child’s experiences and level of development.
2. To encourage development of the whole child in way which enable children to be more mature persons so that basics of Christian love, both for the child and from the child, can be reinforced in practice.
3. To increase community awareness of Christian ideals and principles.
4. To encourage a child in self-confidence, concern for others, cooperation in work and play, and the spirit of caring.
5. To increase the child’s skills in listening, self-discipline, conversation, creative self-expression, independent work and play.
6. To help parents learn skills which promote the growth and development of their children.
