Camp Frenda – on Lake Rosseau since 1976, our mission is to provide excellence in camping: spiritually, socially, and mentally. Every aspect of the camp experience is examined constantly, to investigate ways we can improve. For any questions, just click the contact link to the right, and one of our staff will gladly respond!
Camp Frenda Q&A
Question: Can I come visit my child while he/she is at camp?
Answer: We prefer not to have visitors during the week while camps are in session. If there is an emergency or special circumstance, please contact our camp office.Question: What medical services are available to my child while he/she is at camp?
Answer: Our camp has an on-staff doctor and 1-2 nurses available 24/7 during our summer sessions.Question: What time is pickup/drop-off?
Answer: Registration on Sunday begins at 3:00 pm. Pickup time on Sunday is 10:00 am sharp. PLEASE NOTE, sessions ending on Friday will also follow the 10:00 am pick up time. For safety reasons, campers will only be released to those listed on the authorized pick up list by parents/guardians at the time of registration. Please be prepared to present photo identification.Question: How long is a camp session?
Answer: Camp programs are one week in length, Sunday to Sunday. Please click here to see our summer camp dates & rates page.Question: Do we have to belong to a church to attend Frenda?
Answer: Absolutely not! Although we are a Christian camp and event centre, each year hundreds of children attend camp, with no church affiliation whatsoever. Our inclusive approach ensures that everyone feels welcome.Question: What do we bring to camp?
Answer: Comfortable clothing, sleeping bag, closed toe shoes, modest bathing suit, bug spray, flashlight, all the camp stuff! A complete list and guide is provided via email once you register.Question: What is your phone and tablet policy?
Answer: We encourage campers to leave these devices at home – it’s great to break free from the glowing screen for a week! However, we make accommodation for those who strongly wish to bring a device. The complete phone policy is available on our summer camp page.Question: Is your camp nut-free?
Answer: Because we serve a (delicious, amazing) vegetarian diet, we do not operate a nut-free camp. However, we have a very thorough allergy protocol in place, and our on-site medical staff is equipped to assist in our prevention and awareness program.Question: Is transportation available?
Answer: Yes! We have bus service from Oshawa and Toronto, and details can be found in the registration process.Question: Can I call or email with questions or concerns?

Junior Camp, get ready for fun! Enjoy a week or two at Frenda
Junior Camp: June 29 – July 6
Ages 8-12
This includes two activities in the morning, two activities in the afternoon, meals and lodging.
General Camp – $745
Specialized Water skiing – $845
Specialized water skiing runs during the regular camp sessions but offers extended time in water skiing. Children who register for the specialized program receive two periods of water skiing in the morning, and then two other activities of their choice in the afternoon.

Tween Camp 1: July 6 – 13
Tween Camp 2: July 13 – 20
Ages 10-14
This includes two activities in the morning, two activities in the afternoon, meals and lodging.

Specialized Water skiing – $865
Specialized water skiing runs during the regular camp sessions but offers extended time in water skiing. Children who register for specialized water skiing will receive two periods of water skiing in the morning and two other activities of their choice in the afternoon. Specialized water skiing runs during the regular camp sessions but offers extended time in water skiing. Children who register for specialized water skiing will receive two periods of water-skiing in the morning and two other activities of their choice in the afternoon. The specialized fee includes activities, meals and lodging.
Specialized horsemanship runs during the teen camp sessions and offers extended time in horsemanship. Children who register for specialized horsemanship will receive two periods of training in the morning and two other activities of their choice in the afternoon. The specialized fee includes activities, meals, and lodging.

Family Camp is a great way to enjoy all that Frenda has to offer, together! Please note, the minimum group size for Family Camp is 2 persons.
Lakeview Lodge – $845 for a family of two to four. ($175 for each additional person. Children 4 and under are free.)
Chalet 1 or 2 – $725 for a family of two to four. ($125 for each additional person. Children 4 and under are free.)
