Our parish community is a Roman Catholic church and part of the Mission Diocese of Lexington, Kentucky. We are also part of a Cluster of three small parishes that includes Holy Cross in Jackson and Mother of Good Counsel in Hazard. Each parish is served by a full time Parish Life Director - Kirsten Thorstad serves Good Shepherd as the Parish Life Director. Three priests rotate serving as our Sacramental Ministers. The three regular priests are Fr. Bob Damron, Fr. Bob Dueweke, OSA, & Fr. Livinus Uba.
We serve the Wolfe County community with a Thrift Store open 3 days a week (Thurs., & Fri. from 8:30 AM to 2:00PM and Sat. from 8:30 AM to 12:00PM.) We also serve many Wolfe County families through our Food Pantry which is open 10:00AM to 2:00PM on Wednesdays during the first half of the month and Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the latter half of the month. (For April this will be reversed in order to get Easter meals to all - first two weeks, Tuesdays and Wednesdays).

The Catholic Thrift Store is located on Main St. (at the light). We have a variety of clothing and household items at low prices. We also assist in crises. Funds raised help us buy food for the community. Stop on by!!
