Who we are
Mission
Our mission is the one that Jesus gave the disciples in Matthew 28:16-20, to go into all the world and preach the Good News! The Gospel is the "good news" that the Son of God, Jesus Christ, gave His life as a sacrifice for the sins of humanity, and that because of His death and resurrection-life, we may have eternal life also! By reaching one-life-at-a-time, we want the whole world to know about this GOOD NEWS!
Vision
The Bible says that, "Where there is no vision, the people perish!" The CCOG is made up of people with a vision to see their homes, families, communities, and the world touched by the life-transforming power of Jesus Christ. Located in the heart of the Cherokee Indian Reservation, we have a global vision!
Values
The Cherokee Church of God values families! Whether you're a child or an adult, single or married, we believe God has an important plan for your life! To discover that plan is part of our key focus here, and to walk that plan out is a lifetime responsibility! As a Spirit-filled church, we believe that the Holy Spirit is still at work in supernatural ways through His Church, and empowers them with specific gifts to build up the Body of Christ and reach the lost.
