Our Vision: Christ Alive Church is committed to Love like, Learn of, and Live for Jesus Christ.
II. Why We Exist:
Our Mission: Having been created for and by Christ, we Love, Learn, and Live Christ's purposes in the world. (Luke 4:18, 19; Matthew 28:19,20; John 3:16)
III. What Motivates Us:
Love - We are devoted to God and committed to loving people.
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind and you shall love your neighbor as yourself” Matthew 22:37,39
Learn - We desire to see Jesus' character replicated in all believers living a Christ-centered life in the community of faith.

“All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.” 2 Tim. 3:16, 17 NAS
Live - As individuals and collectively, we are devoted to living for Jesus Christ, the building of HIs Church, the never-ending expansion of His Kingdom, and the glorification of His Name.

“Go therefore and make disciples of call the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you;” Matt 28:19 NAS
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed, to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18, 19 NAS

Christ Alive Church History
The Beginning:
In 1980 Pastor Bob and his wife, Jacquie, started our church as a BIble study in their East Meadow apartment. As the Bible study grew, Pastor Bob was ordained as a pastor by our apostle, Robert Ewing, in 1983. That same year God provided us with out current building, where we've been laboring for the Lord ever since.
The Transition:
In 1991 several church members took a mission trip to Romania where they ultimately planted and supported a church in the town of Radauti. Our church remained in contact with the assembly and experienced a particularly memorable visit in 2000. During this trip, Pastor Bob's daughter Stefanie met and fell in love with her future husband, the Romanian pastor's son, Cristian Preda.
Cristi came to America shortly after, married Stefanie, and completed his degree in theology. He became an elder and then assistant pastor of the church. Pastor Cristi was ordained as the church's Lead Pastor on May 15, 2009.
The Present:
The Open Hand of God relaunched as Christ Alive on Easter Sunday, 2011. God is doing amazing things and we're excited for what the future holds. If our church sounds exciting to you, our message to you is the same as disciple Phillip's words to Nathanial, "Come and see."
