Christ Church Chilwell Service Times
Sunday
earlychurch@9am
The early.church@9am service is usually quiet and contemplative, based on Common Worship and including mostly traditional hymns and a serMonday There is a small robed choir. Holy Communion is celebrated at least three times each month, the other being Morning Prayer. Tea and coffee are served in the Upper Room after the service where we meet for informal fellowship.
Every Sunday at 9:00 AM for 1 hour
[email protected]
The [email protected] service has particular emphasis towards families with children up to early teens. The whole family worships together for the first 15 minutes before the children leave for their own age based groups. The service is informal in style with a worship group leading contemporary songs. Communion is celebrated once each month.
Every other week we offer a British Sign Language interpreted service. This is an essential part of the church’s worship, enabling access to worship for deaf people and enriching the life of the church.
Every Sunday at 10:45 AM for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Celebration Service
The late.church@7pm is designed to be contemporary, informal and challenging. Whilst the service is attended by our students and young people, it appeals to a wide range of ages. Our Celebration services are extended sung worship led by a larger band. There are sometimes visiting speakers
