Christ Lutheran holds regular Sunday services @10:00 A.M. during summer months (May 1-Sept.30),and 11:00 A.M. during winter months (Oct.1-April30), with others for special occasions. Sunday school gather every 2nd. Sunday, Confirmation classes are held every week.Choir also meets after worship and one evening during the week, so they can bless us with special music on special occasions. There are baptisms, confirmation, weddings and funeral services. We share the ministry of worship services at the care home in Gladstone and with other ministries in the area. Visitations and communion are supplied for those who require it. We have fundraising events a few times a year. Our ladies group has continued since the ELW disbanded and are now known as Waldersee Lutheran Women and continue with all their regular items as before. After worship service on the first Sunday of the month we gather in the lower level for lunch & fellowship, everyone is welcome. Special times are elected for maintenance projects and other shared work.

Lord, teach me to listen.
The times are noisy and my ears are weary with the thousand raucous sounds which continuously assault them. Give me the spirit of the boy Samuel when he said to Thee, "Speak, for Thy servant heareth." Let me hear Thee speaking in my heart. Let me get used to the sound of Thy voice, that its tones may be familiar when the sounds of earth die away and the only sound will be the music of Thy speaking. Amen.
