Most of the modern Christianity has drifted so far from the standard of Christ (the Word of God) that they don't realize they are embalmed in unbelief. By and large performance has replaced praise, programs have replaced His presence and the 'Readers Digest' has replaced the Bible. Many Christians today think that miracles, healings and other supernatural evidences are weird and off the wall. But isn't this what Jesus, in His Christian ministry was all about?
The power of God (demonstrated when He raised Jesus from the dead) is what causes real change in people's lives. Without real change there is only powerless religion.To show means to boldly stand out opposite, to manifest, certify, declare, repent, show forth, demonstrate.
God wants to show Jesus is Alive by undeniable proofs. (Acts 1:3) so that one's faith can be in the power of God and not the words of man. (1 Corinthian 2:4,5)

Answer: Church Alive is non denominational. We are “Full Gospel” which means we believe the entire Bible. We are not an “exclusive” group, that thinks we are the only true Christians. People here are from a variety of backgrounds.Question: What is the structure of Church Alive?
Answer: We follow a divine order as shown in the Bible. The pastor was placed here by God in 1992 and is the head submitting to his boss the Lord Jesus Christ. The pastor is accountable and receives counsel from a board of trustees.Question: Do we practice communion and baptism?
Answer: Yes, as announced. For baptism, fill out a Care and Communication Card, located in each aisle, and put it in the offering.Question: What if I drink, smoke or cuss, am I welcome?
Answer: Absolutely! People here will not judge you. Besides, most of us did at one time too!Question: How can I be involved?

Daniel Mathews, Sr. and Catherine Mathews, serve as the pastors of Church Alive in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Dan received his Bachelor of Arts from Wabash College. He received his ministry training from Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma and is ordained through Rhema Ministerial Association International. Dan has pastored Church Alive since 1992 and served four years as assistant pastor at a church in New York. Dan and Cathi have two sons Daniel and Samuel.
