Who we are
Mission
At Church on the Mountain we have joined a generous God in building a Christ centered, Whistler engaged, creative community. We invite and include all. We look to be inspired and challenged by the beauty and reality of God. We relentlessly pursue authenticity.
Values
Authenticity. Redemption. Compassion. Generosity. Creativity. Collaboration. Truth seeking.
Belief Statement
We believe the Bible is inspired by God and is without error as originally transcribed. It contains His truth for our lives for today and tomorrow. God, the author of all things, created mankind to have fellowship with Him. Sin entered the world and mankind became separated from God. Jesus Christ gave up His position next to God to come to earth where He lived a sinless life. He voluntarily died on a cross to pay the price for our sins and then rose again thereby allowing us the possibility of a renewed relationship with God. Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and mankind. For all those who accept His sacrifice He gives the Holy Spirit as a guide toward personal growth. The church is part of God’s design to encourage, and support believers while corporately glorifying God through various forms of service and worship.
We welcome you to explore with us the meaning of life and how we can know the God who created all things.

I ask for...
I ask you neither for health nor for sickness, for life nor for death; but that you may dispose of my health and my sickness, my life and my death, for your glory... You alone know what is expedient for me; you are the sovereign master, do with me according to your will. Give to me, or take away from me, only conform my will to yours. I know but one thing, Lord, that it is good to follow you, and bad to offend you. Apart from that, I know not what is good or bad in anything. I know not which is most profitable to me, health or sickness, wealth or poverty, nor anything else in the world. That discernment is beyond the power of men or angels, and is hidden among the secrets of your providence, which I adore, but do not seek to fathom.
