Who we are
The vision of City Life Church is simply to love God, love one another and love the world. We are a friendly and vibrant church, passionate about hearing and responding to Jesus in order to make his love known. We provide a place of belonging and growth in order that we might be equipped to support our communities, initiate projects, and be all we can be for Him. We are actively involved in the local community, the city and internationally, working in partnership wherever possible for the benefit of all, especially the vulnerable and disadvantaged.
On a Sunday
We have two celebrations every Sunday at 286, Burgess Road, SO16 3BE. You are welcome to join us for our 'Shine Celebration' 10am - 12pm: building family together through all-age fun activities, worship, teaching and prayer. Or come along to our 'Evening Celebration' 6.30 - 8.30pm: building community together through worship, teaching and prayer. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks are served at the start of both celebrations, and we invite guests to our Welcome Table where you can find out more about City Life. There is free parking locally.
During the week
City Life has many Connect groups across the city meeting in homes weekly or fortnightly at which you will receive a warm welcome. We also have community outreach groups in specific places providing an opportunity to build friendships and explore faith in God together. These include Open Door at 286 and our Kids & Families outreach.

O God, forgive the poverty and the pettiness of our prayers . Listen not to our words but to the yearnings of our hearts. Hear beneath our petitions the crying of our need.
