Who we are
A CHURCH FOR THE CITY
Since its beginning in 1843, the story of Collins Street Baptist Church has been entwined with the story of Melbourne. Located part way between the historic Town Hall and State Parliament, the church sits at Melbourne’s cultural, political and spiritual heart. And today Collins Street is as committed to the people and welfare of the city as the day it began.
A CHURCH FOR YOU
Collins Street is a place where you can explore and deepen your spirituality and find relationship with other people similarly curious about faith and life. And it’s a place where you’ll always be welcome, no matter what your story or where you come from.
A CHURCH INSPIRED BY THE LIFE AND MINISTRY OF JESUS
Ours is a community dedicated to living life as Jesus called us to. Through our practices of worship, prayer, bible reading, and daily acts of justice and mercy, we listen together for the voice of God in our lives and in the world.

Collins Street Baptist Church Service Times
Our Sunday services are at 10.30am.
Whenever you come to CSBC, we want you to feel welcome and inspired with a renewed sense of God’s presence in your life.
The Sunday service attracts a diverse community of people — city residents and workers, students, families, visitors from down the street or around the world — looking for a place of worship and reflection.
In ways that reflect our Baptist tradition, the service is traditional in style while committed to the values of beauty, simplicity and personal enrichment. The central place of the sermon brings the teaching of our faith into conversation with the challenges of daily life.
It's been more than 8 years since the last service times update. Please make sure to contact the church to confirm service times.
