Who we are
We are a Christ-centered, bible-teaching church. When you come to worship with us, you can expect a casual atmosphere. Most people will be casually dressed, but you can dress up if that makes you more comfortable. Our worship music ranges from contemporary songs to classic hymns. We have children's church available during the sermon, as well as a nursery for the younger children and their parents. The sound system allows you to hear the sermon in the nursery. The full service usually lasts around an hour and 15 minutes.

By God’s grace, Pastor Alvie serves the church body and the community with a genuine love for God and a love for others. He has served the Community Alliance Church in the Music Ministry, the Youth Pastorate, as the Associate Pastor, and as an Elder. Pastor Alvie was installed as the Lead Pastor in June of 2008.
He also enjoys listening to music of a wide variety, watching football, playing guitar, and spending time with his family and friends.

Community Alliance Church History
On December 31st, 1996, the leased Grange building which was our home for eight years, was crushed by one of the worst winter snow storms in Yakima. For the next three years, we used various buildings, as we searched for a new home for our church. Finally, we found our new home. The land that the grange had been on was for sale. The Fire station was remodeled into our new church home, back where we started twelve years previously. We were able to use Mountain view Elementary school, until our church building was ready. We expanded our church building in 2007.
