Joe grew up in South Carolina and first had the desire for full time gospel ministry during his first summer working at the Wilds Christian Camp in 2004. It was while working at the Wilds in 2006 that he met his future wife, Becky (Farrell) Fant. Becky was raised on the road traveling with her family in full-time evangelism. She is the youngest daughter of Dr. Tom and Regina Farrell and felt the desire for ministry at an early age. Joe graduated from Bob Jones University with a B.A. in Bible and is currently working on a Master’s Degree from Bob Jones Seminary. Becky also graduated from BJU with a B.A. in Church Music.
Joe's ministry passion is to preach the Word expositionally, love people unconditionally, and serve the Lord faithfully.

Parking
We have specially designated parking spaces near the auditorium, at the south entrance of our main building. During rainy or snowy weather, there is a canopy you can pull under for drop offs. We do encourage you to arrive at least 10 to 15 minutes early as services start on time.

CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS
Knowing that reaching and teaching the next generation is critical for the continuation of the church of Jesus Christ, Community takes its children's ministry very seriously.
From a traditional, graded Sunday School each Sunday to our Expeditions program each Wednesday night during the school year, age appropriate classes and activities are available for children from age two up through the sixth grade.

YOUTH GROUP
The Youth Ministry is full of opportunities to serve and grow. Through the Sunday school classes as well as the Wednesday night youth service, our young people have grown in their relationships with Christ. Wholesome activities are designed to encourage relational and spiritual growth with one another and with our Lord.
Our primary goal in the youth ministry here at Community Baptist Church is the training of young people for the glory and service of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This was the goal of Christ on this earth and the parting instruction He gave to His disciples (Matthew 28:19-20; II Timothy 2:2, Philippians 4:9).
How can this goal be accomplished within our youth ministry? We believe that there are three primary means of incorporating this philosophy into our youth ministry. First, preaching the word of God faithfully and consistently produces change in the lives of those who will hear. Secondly, encouraging young people to have their own consistent personal time in the Word of God will result in their learning to feed themselves with the great truths of our God. Finally, personal contact and follow-up with young people at strategic times of spiritual openness enables us to direct them to take great steps toward Christ-likeness.
It would be our great joy to serve you and your teenager here at Community Baptist Church! We look forward to the opportunity to meet you and minister to your family.
