Who we are
Welcome!
Thank you for visiting us online. No matter who you are, or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here. We welcome people of all faiths, and offer Holy Communion to all believers. It is our sincere prayer that you experience God's grace during your time here. We pray that the music, the scriptures, or the sermon will speak to you in some way, and that your day and upcoming week will be filled with the Holy Spirit!
What we believe
We believe that each person is unique and valuable. It is the will of God that every person belong to a family of faith where they have a strong sense of being valued and loved.
We believe that the persistent search for God gives life purpose and direction. We believe that all of the baptized "belong body and soul to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." No matter who - no matter what - no matter where we are in life's journey - we all belong to God and to one worldwide community of faith.
We believe that all people of faith are invited to join Christ at Christ's table for the sacrament of Communion.
We believe the UCC is called to be a united and uniting church. The UCC has no rigid formulation of doctrine or attachment to creeds or structures. Its overarching creed is love.
We believe that God calls us to be servants in the service of others and to be good stewards of the earth's resources.
We believe that God calls the church to speak truth to power, liberate the oppressed, care for the poor and comfort the afflicted.
We believe in the power of peace and work for nonviolent solutions to local, national, and international problems.
As a "congregational" church, we believe in the autonomy of the local church, and its freedom - and responsibility - to determine its own course as conscience dictates.

I ask for...
I ask you neither for health nor for sickness, for life nor for death; but that you may dispose of my health and my sickness, my life and my death, for your glory... You alone know what is expedient for me; you are the sovereign master, do with me according to your will. Give to me, or take away from me, only conform my will to yours. I know but one thing, Lord, that it is good to follow you, and bad to offend you. Apart from that, I know not what is good or bad in anything. I know not which is most profitable to me, health or sickness, wealth or poverty, nor anything else in the world. That discernment is beyond the power of men or angels, and is hidden among the secrets of your providence, which I adore, but do not seek to fathom.
