Who we are
Our congregation is seeing increased involvement in missions and service in our local community and outreach to the world. We offer programs that nurture our people at every age. We have diversity in our worship experiences and genuine loving relationships in our fellowship opportunities. So whether you are a long-time church attender or you've never stepped inside a church before, you are welcome here!
We believe that God is calling us to be a caring community in which:
The Gospel is presented in a compelling and relevant way. We reach out to the unchurched and people who are new to our community and draw them into a personal relationship with Christ.
Unbelievers discover a place where they can search for truth without fear of judgement.
Believers are nurtured and strengthened in their faith through worship, study and fellowship.
Small groups provide the opportunities for support, encouragement and evangelism.
Newcomers are drawn into the life of the church, helped to establish friendships, and to find the opportunities for service which are right for them.
Caregiving ministries offer practical help and hope to those within our fellowship who need it.
We actively participate in mission beyond our own walls, locally, nationally and globally.
Seeds of faith are planted and nurtured in the lives of children as they experience the love of Jesus through us.
Teenagers discover their true identity, and develop a world view that gives them stability and direction in times of unprecedented change.
Adults of all ages, married and single, find meaning in their lives by discovering and using their spiritual gifts.
Love is shared freely and a sense of Christian unity encourages all to experience acceptance and a feeling of belonging.
Our mission is to share God's love through celebration and service.

Leader Bio:
Pastor Tim graduated from Lebanon Valley College in May 1978 with a Bachelor's Degree in Religion. Just five days later he married Anna Sgro! He graduated from Wesley Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity Degree in 1981. His favorite pastoral activity is teaching, his favorite Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) is joy, his most fulfilling spiritual discipline is soaking prayer (ask him what it is!). He likes sports, but he loves chocolate, he also enjoys reading mystery, spy and thriller novels. His most fervent prayer is that the Holy Spirit would bring revival to this church and that it would spread throughout the community.

Teach me, O God, to use all the circumstances of my life to-day that they may bring forth in me the fruits of holiness rather than the fruits of sin. Let me use disappointment as material for patience: Let me use success as material for thankfulness: Let me use suspence as material for perseverance: Let me use danger as material for courage: Let me use reproach as material for longsuffering: Let me use praise as material for humility: Let me use pleasures as material for temperance: Let me use pains as material for endurance.
