Who we are
Dayspring Pentecostal Church is a group of Spirit-filled people who love to worship the Lord Jesus Christ in Spirit and in Truth. We believe the most important part of any service is the manifest presence of God. If we have not His presence and the moving of His Spirit, we have missed our purpose. As a result we experience the Gifts and Fruit of the Spirit mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12:4-1 and also Galatians 5:22.
Dayspring Pentecostal Church seeks to propagate the love of Jesus to the Kansas City Metro area in many different ways. A few examples are feeding the homeless, ministering in nursing homes, and providing a food bank with an occasional food drop where nearly 18 pallets of food are distributed from our parking lot to all that come, absolutely free. We help people in an way we are able. We believe that Jesus loves people and that love is the only motive that is acceptable to Him. We strive to live a life consistent with this.
We value a warm, accepting, family atmosphere where anyone can feel safe and comfortable to freely seek and worship God. Here, no one feels left out. All we do is live life according to Scripture by serving Jesus Christ faithfully.

Thanks to Thee, O God, that I have risen today, To the rising of this life itself; may it be to Thine own glory, O God of every gift, and to the glory, aid Thou my soul. With the aiding of Thine own mercy, even as I clothe my body with wool, cover Thou my soul with the shadow of Thy wing. Help me to avoid every sin, and the source of every sin to forsake, and as the mist scatters on the crest of the hills, may each ill haze clear from my soul, O God.
