Who we are
We Believe:
In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.
That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.
That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost.
Holiness to be God's standard of living for His people.
In the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.
In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.
In the Lord's Supper and washing of the saints' feet.
In the premillennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.
In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.

In June 2014, he became an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God. Bishop Ray attended Bunker Hill Community College and is now pursuing his master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling.
In 1999, Bishop Raymond Hall along with his wife Pastor Arlene Hall founded Deliverance Temple Worship Center(DT), a dynamic church in Boston, Massachusetts. His strong, innovative and organizational leadership skills have helped to position DT as a leading ministry in the City of Boston as well as in the COG. He is a man of integrity, style and elegance who believes in doing ministry with the spirit of excellence. His motto is “make it happen.” As a teacher and preacher, his unique style of communicating the word has reached and transformed the young and old. His ministry passion is building strong spiritual men of destiny who will transform their home, church, community, and country.
In addition to working a full time job and pastoring DT with his wife, he also serves in several positions in the church and the community. For the past five years he has ministered monthly in the Massachusetts correctional prison service where he has witnessed the transformative power of God at work in the lives of men. He has served as the district men’s president for the Dorchester District COG. Currently, he serves as on the Dorchester District Ministers board and has been a member of the Southern New England Regional Council of Bishops. Brief History of DT
Deliverance Temple Worship Center
After a season of prayer and fasting, in response to call of God Deliverance Temple Church of God was founded on August 6th 1999 by Pastors Arlene and Raymond Hall.
The congregation started in the living room of the pastors home 89 Mora Street Dorchester Mass. For 6 weeks pastor Hall taught the young group on the power on the power of prayer followed by weekly prayer walks and evangelism. Through a prayerful strategic process this small group of believers decided on the name of the church and the mission statement Our Mission statement is “To bring Healing and Deliverance, to Equip, Empower and Make Disciples, in the Spirit and Power of Pentecost.”
In complete obedience and submission to God’s will on September 25, 1999 Bishop Wallace Sibley, State Overseer of Southern New England Church of God at the time, officially organized Deliverance Temple. Reverend Arlene Hall was inaugurated as the senior Pastor of Deliverance Temple with 12 members.
We built a space in our home for church and held weekly services there as well as host the office of the church. At our fourth location we were able to hold bible study and youth ministries outside our home. The big turnaround for the ministry occurred when we moved to our fifth location where we had ample off street parking, multiple meeting rooms as well as office space. Spiritually and numerically we immediately saw the difference in terms of growth with Sunday service attendance increased steadily to over one hundred for the first time. We continue to develop leaders and make disciples.
There have been various transitions since our first prayer meeting at 89 Mora St. Dorchester. Below are the locations that we occupied as our place of worship.
9/25/99 Trotter School-Induction Service for Pastor Arlene O. Hall 1/00-2/00 Nuestra Community Center, Roxbury MA 2/00-5/02-Berea SDA, Roxbury, MA 5/02-11/03–Faith Pentecostal, Dorchester MA 11/03-11/06-1020 Harvard St. Mattapan, MA 12/06-Present 232-236A Columbia Road Dorchester, MA. On the 1st Sunday of December 2006 we moved into this location and passed closing papers in March 2006.
After acquiring this property we changed our church name to Deliverance Temple Worship Center with the implication that this house will be a center of worship and deliverance in this community and the city of Boston. Throughout the years we have experienced steady growth with the ministry that started with fourteen members including bishop, pastor and their 3 eldest children.
After three years at this property and seven years of ministry in the City we finally purchased our own building. Once the excitement for a new building we soon realized that not having off-street parking was a huge factor. we started a second service (8am) this has increased our capacity in different ways especially with the challenge we have with parking in the inner city. By the mighty hand of God DTWC membership is over 200 and we give God praise for the faithful leaders and members who continue to serve the Lord with all their heart.
Under the visionary leadership of Bishop Raymond Hall and Dr. Raymond Hall God has favored the ministry of DT. They are respected for their leadership in the City of Boston AND the COG Denomination. Today as we celebrate 19th years we say like the psalmist this is the Lords doing and its marvelous in our eyes.

Empower me
Empower me to be a bold participant, rather than a timid saint in waiting; to exercise authority of honesty, rather than to defer to power or deceive to get it; to influence someone for justice, rather than impress anyone for gain; and by grace, to find treasures of joy, of friendship, of peace hidden in the fields you give me daily to plow.
