Thanks for visiting our pages. At Destiny Church we believe every moment can be a moment of Destiny in our lives. As a church we are committed to seeing the purposes of God fulfilled locally, regionally, nationally and throughout the world. We are passionate and committed to this and the church reflects that. It is filled with life, noise, passion, exuberance and most importantly, the presence of God. Our heart is to see people in relationship with God and each other, growing and serving in small groups and making a difference in the world.
Purposes of God
As a church we believe that God has purposes for us to accomplish, both as a congregation and as individuals. These purposes are to worship him above all others, to belong to his family (the church), to grow as a Christian, to serve others in his love and power and to tell others about Jesus and his love. We call these our M's: Magnify (love God), Membership (love belonging), Maturity (love growing), Ministry (love serving) and Mission (love sharing). We firmly believe that everything we do as a church must be driven by these purposes and not anything else. That is why we say we are Purpose Driven.
Cell Church
Very simply that means we believe that church is about meeting together as everyone and in small groups. Our small groups (Reachout Groups) are where people can grow, ask questions, care for each other, build each other up, learn to pray and, bring their friends, reach out and be involved in many other things. Just like a body is healthy when its cells are healthy, so a church is healthy when its small groups are health. In fact cells are so important to us that if we cannot do it in cells then we don’t do it!
