We are a friendly and informal church in a central location in the East Finchley area of North London. We welcome people of all ages, all church backgrounds or none, and especially those thinking about the Christian faith for the first time.
As a church we exist to bring glory to God by making Jesus Christ known and helping people to become mature, fully devoted followers of Jesus.

East Finchley Baptist Church Service Times
On Sundays we meet together at 10:30am for our weekly service, which lasts around an hour and a half. The children and young people leave the main congregation after 20 minutes to be taught in their own special groups (infants and juniors and seniors). There is also a crèche provided for children aged 0-3. Afterward each service we share tea, coffee and biscuits together.
All age 'in together' services are held on Easter Sunday, and in our morning Christmas carol service in December, as well as the first Sunday in July and October. These services are geared for the whole family.
On the 1st Sunday of the month after the morning service we have lunch together, which gives the opportunity for discussion and getting to know one another better. Sometimes we might use a lunch to think about what's been said in the morning service or to think through what the Bible has to say on particular issues, as we seek to apply the Bible to contemporary life.

Little Fishes
Where: The lower hall at the back of the Church
When: Fridays from 9.30am to 11.15am (term time only)
Little Fishes is our baby and toddler group for all children aged 0-3 and their parents/carers. There is a charge of £2.00 for each session (plus 50p for additional siblings over 9 months) which covers the cost of running the group including refreshments.
The group is run by volunteers from the church and has a Christian ethos. All our volunteers undergo a DBS check and the church has a child protection policy which is available from the church office on request.

Dear God, help my unbelief. When I'm in pain, I forget that you care about me. I forget that you have helped me through my trials. I forget that you hold me in your arms to keep me safe. I forget that you are feeling my pain with me. I forget that you love me, I forget that I am important to you. Show me your presence - let me feel your enveloping love. Heal my hurting soul.
