Welcome to Easterhouse Baptist Church
We are a vibrant church located in the east end of Glasgow just off the M8 motorway at junction 10. Our Sunday morning service starts at 11am.
If you are interested in finding out more about the Christian faith you might like to come to our service and meet with us on Sundays.
Easterhouse Baptist Church is a member of the Baptist Union of Scotland which has made the following statement onwhat Scottish Baptists believe.
‘Baptists believe in the historic creeds of the Church. They lay particular emphasis on the importance of personal faith in Jesus Christ, as Saviour and Lord, and on the Bible as God’s Word, guiding the conduct of individuals and the life of the Church. One of the distinctive features of Baptist Church life is their practice of Christian Baptism.
They followthe New Testament patternof baptising those who have come to a personal faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism is normally by total immersion in water.
Baptists also lay stress on the responsibility of each local church to govern its own life and affairs.’
Our Mission is to make disciples as we have been commanded to by Jesus.
“God authorized and commanded me to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I’ll be with you as you do this, day after day, right up to the end of the age.” (Matt. 28:19-20. The Message)

It's a 7 minute walk from the Bus Station at the Fort. If coming by bus, the best bus stop is the Easterhouse Health Centre.
Parking
Plenty of parking is available on the street - at Arnisdale Road. We are located one minute by car from the M8 Junction 10 at The Fort Shopping Centre - opposite Morrisons and the Everlast Gym.

We meet at 11am every Sunday
Come join us this Sunday
We would be delighted to welcome you to our Sunday service. We have a creche, children and youth programmes that run after the opening worship time. After the service we usually gather for coffee and tea in our cafe area.
We also have an evening Prayer Meeting on the Second Sunday of the month at 7pm.
