Pastor Jessica Skinner is originally from Columbia, South Carolina. She attended college in Charleston from 2006 - 2009. While there, she achieved a Bachelor's degree in Historic Preservation and Community Planning.
She decided to pursue further education to become a minister. While attending school at Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary, she met her husband Jason. They were married in November of 2013. Later that year, Pastor Jessica received her Master's in Divinity. Pastor Jessica and Jason then found themselves in small town North Dakota in November of 2014 where she began preaching at Lutheran Rural Parish.
Since being here, they have expanded their little family by having their son Isaac in June of 2016.
