Who we are
Worship is the center of Evergreen’s life together as a church. We recognize that we are imperfect and in need of the life changing power of Jesus Christ. On Sunday mornings the atmosphere is relaxed, dress is casual, the singing is inspirational and the preaching is biblical.

I graduated from Ellensburg High School, went to a two-year college in Alaska, graduated from Washington State University and Fuller Theological Seminary. Things I do for fun are: boating (sail and power), grow dahlias, work in the garden and hang out with my wife Brenda (her “love language” is Quality Time). The DISC personality inventory rates me equally high as a “D” and “I”. My favorite book in the New Testament is the Gospel of Mark. My favorite Starbucks drink is an iced, decaf, venti, Americano with 4 Splendas and extra cream. I am currently reading Dave Ramsey’s EntreLeadership.
I accepted Jesus as my savior and Lord as a high school junior. Since that time it has been exciting to serve the Lord’s church in many capacities. I love to watch people grow as Christ-followers!

Lord Jesus, master of both the light and the darkness, send your Holy Spirit upon our preparations for Christmas. We who have so much to do seek quiet spaces to hear your voice each day.
