Appointment History UMC and Church Service: Fairall Charge (Mount Morris, Claughton Chapel, Fairall) 7 years. I served on the Taskforce for a Way Forward and I am currently committed to facilitating a CCOP class this coming September.
Family and Interests: I have been married to my wonderful wife Julie for 11 years and we have two energetic, smart, and loving children Lydia 9 and Levi 5. I am the middle boy amongst four kids in my family. One of my brothers is three years older than me and the other three years younger. My sister is a year and nine months younger than me. My father, older brother, and sister are all ordained Elders in the UMC.
I love to read theological works that challenge my assumptions and help me become more self-aware, in order to better serve all people. I also really enjoy teaching. This past spring I taught Introduction to the Old Testament at Waynesburg University and I have been asked to teach again this coming fall. I enjoy sports. I wrestled and played football in high school, wrestled in college, and played on our church softball team for the past six years. I also enjoy playing the guitar.
