astor Ray is a lifelong member of Faith. His wife Kathy and him have served in leadership at FAITH for over 25 years. They met each other in Sunday School before they were teenagers and never left the church. Now they are serving as Senior Pastor and First Lady.
Ray was ordained in 2009 and has served in leadership within 2 different denominations, World Impact of the IFCA and the Ephesians 4 Network of the IPHC.
Ray has been training leaders both nationally and internationally since 2004, and has traveled to more than 70 countries for various teaching and ministry opportunities. Ray and Kathy have four beautiful children who love the Lord and together have answered the calling of God on their lives.
Ray was ordained in 2009 and has served in leadership within 2 different denominations, World Impact of the IFCA and the Ephesians 4 Network of the IPHC.

Rock Solid Kids is dedicated to the children of Faith. Our mission is to grow up a generation of kids that love and serve God. This is accomplished through friendly teaching methods, games and activities. We serve Pre-School and Kindergarten ages in our Little Rock program and First through Sixth Grade in Rock Solid.
Ps. Vinnie and Cathy have a passion for global missions and infuse this into the program. Our kids regularly raise money for children’s homes on Bangladesh and India.
Vacation Bible School or VBS is held every Summer. However, year round is always a time filled with fun and excitement at Rock Solid.

Bread of Life is Faith’s outreach through food and clothing distribution. This monthly outreach occurs at Faith on the 4th Saturday of every month. The months of November and December are the only exceptions to distribute food before the holidays.
Anyone in need can receive food from Bread of Life. Simply arrive at the church on the designated day at 8:30 AM. Please note that no additional guests are admitted after 9:00 AM.
You’ll receive food, friendship, and lots of love from our leaders and volunteers. Please contact the church office for more information and to confirm dates.

How it all started...
Faith Christian Assembly traces its roots back to 1937. Rev. Cosimo Caruso began with street meetings and later, when the weather became cold, moved the meetings into the home of Mr. Joseph Gambino, Sr. in Ecorse. After 5 years, Joseph Gambino donates a plot of land on 12th street in Ecorse and a small church was constructed, The Italian Christian Church. In 1956, Rev. Caruso passed away and went to be with the Lord. Rev. Frank Gambino accepted the Pastorate and as the Lord continued to bless His people, they launched out to greater things. The Italian Christian Church later merged with Boulevard Christian Church of Detroit, and the chuches were renamed Faith Christian Assembly.
Expanding the vision...
Faith Christian Assembly grew and expanded into a new building in 1968 when Patrick J. Bossio Sr. of Mt. Vernon, NY was called to pastor Faith Christian Assembly Full Time and led until his retirement in 1997. In 1998, Patrick Bossio Jr. became Senior Pastor and led until 2010. By the grace of God the growth continued and the church found itself in yet another capacity predicament. In January of 2007, we moved into our newly renovated facility, rejoicing and praising God for the gift He has given us in having a building large enough to serve our community and our congregation. We have been able to enhance our ministry with more Christian education, plenty of room for fellowship and lots of space to grow in the future. Most of all, we are blessed by the fact that in 50+ years (as of 2021) we have never moved more than two blocks in any direction on Outer Drive. Rev. Frank Julian became Senior Pastor in 2010.
Where we are headed...
Following Rev. Frank Julian's retirement on January 20th, 2019, Rev. Raymond Bucciarelli responded to the calling he received from God and stepped into the role of Senior Pastor. A ceremony was held to honor Rev. Raymond Bucciarelli as Senior Pastor on Sunday, February 10th, 2019 by Presiding Bishop Doug Beacham of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church. Since accepting his role as Senior Pastor, Pastor Ray has been dedicated to his vision of equipping our members to reach their homes, schools, workplaces and communities in new and exciting ways.
