Who we are
Welcome to Faith Christian Church! It is an honour to be serving as the senior pastors of this thriving church. We believe that Jesus is the answer for this world and our church is a place where you can discover this for yourself.
There’s opportunity to connect with friends, get empowered through our worship experiences and learn keys to make a difference in your world. We have something for everyone at Faith: a fun and safe kids program, our growing youth group, young adults, families and mature adults. Come and have a look for yourself, we’d love to see you at one of our weekend services.
Our church meets in four campuses across the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne, each working together to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to our communities and to the world at large. Faith has had a rich heritage, especially over the last 30 years under the leadership of Pastors Alun & Joan Davies. We continue to enjoy a great relationship with Pastors Alun & Joan who remain an important part of the Faith family, but we also look forward to all the new opportunities and ministries that God is opening up for us.

In a nutshell, Faith is about connecting to God, connecting with others and being empowered to live fruitful lives. We believe that when we are empowered by God’s Word and the Holy Spirit we can expect to be fruitful and that together we can be an impactful church both in our community and across the globe.
What does this mean for you?
Here at Faith you will find a vibrant, passionate church community that has a range of exciting programs and events. All of our Sunday morning services provide an energetic children’s programme for ages 3-14. During the week you will find thriving connect groups, youth and young adult programs, training courses and discipleship opportunities to further develop your faith in God. Finally, during the year we hold special major events that seek to serve the community at large as well as hosting extensive mission’s events overseas.
The missions program of Faith last year was able to provide practical help to the following countries and regions – Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, China, Philippines, Nepal, Georgia, Mozambique, Europe & The Middle East. Poverty relief, community development programmes and clean water initiatives were just some of the areas that we were able to provide help in.

Faith Kidz is our children’s ministry that takes place over each campus on a Sunday morning. Each week we provide a safe, quality program that reaches around 300 kids and allows them to learn more about God.

Light of the World
Jesus, the Light of the World, as we celebrate your birth... may we begin to see the world in the light of understanding you give us. As you chose the lowly, the outcasts, and the poor to receive the greatest news the world had ever known, so may we worship you in meekness of heart. May we also remember our brothers and sisters less fortunate than ourselves in this season of giving. Amen.
