Henry H. Batson III, is an inner-city leader with immense vision, utilizing his unwavering teaching of the word of God to advance the Kingdom of God. Born in San Antonio, TX and raised in Houston, TX, Pastor Batson was called to preach the word of God on July 25, 1993. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Howard Payne and his Masters of Divinity Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Ft. Worth, Texas.
Pastor Batson is able to articulate the Word of God to both the seeking individual and the believing saint. His twenty-four years of ministry experience, has provided him the ability to effectively manage all that he encounters as the Senior Pastor of Faith Fellowship. His ministry goal is excellence, because God is excellent.
His ministry is multi-faceted, and provides one on one counseling, leadership training, life-changing experiences, blended family resolutions, coupled with uncompromising, anointed teaching and preaching. He is responsible for the holistic development and discipleship of leaders, equipping and shepherding ministry staff, and empowering families to fulfill their biblical roles and responsibilities. He is purposeful, persistent, and passionate about the work of the Lord. He is married to a dynamic worshipper and his life partner, Melonye Batson.
They are the parents to Breonna, Tayler, Haleijah, and Paris who has gone on to be with the Lord.

Faith Fellowship History
Pastor Henry H. Batson, III dreamed of planting a church with a simple goal - helping people connect with God so that they might reach their full potential. With the help of the Dream Team, 9 people committed to seeing this dream become a reality, Faith Fellowship began on April 5, 2016. That Tuesday over 30 people attended our first service at Grace and Mercy Outreach Center of Lancaster, Texas.
From the beginning, Faith Fellowship focused on reaching out to the under-served community by building relationships through small groups. The life-giving message of the Gospel, the passion and joy of Sunday services, and the simple style of Faith Fellowship brought immediate growth. In its first month we grew from 9 active members to 20 adults, by May we secured a building, grew to 40 plus adults, began renovating our building, and raised over $50,000.
God is at work at Faith Fellowship. We invite you to see for yourself how exciting church can be when the focus is simple and people are free to go after God with passion!
