Fayette First Methodist First History
Fayette First Methodist Church became a congregational member of the Global Methodist Church on December 10, 2022. The cornerstone of Fayette First Methodist Church was said to be laid at 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, October 4th, 1923. The church has expanded in the years since the laying of the cornerstone and now houses the church offices and many ministries including The Well Recovery Ministry and Children’s Place, a daycare program for the community of Fayette. We are a thriving church in the heart of Fayette and love to love on our community!

May your light illuminate our hearts
Eternal God, this holy night is radiant with the brilliance of your one true light. May that light illuminate our hearts and shine in our words and deeds. May the hope, the peace, the joy, and the love represented by the birth in Bethlehem this night fill our lives and become part of all that we say and do. May we share the divine life of your son Jesus Christ, even as he humbled himself to share our humanity. Amen.
