Who we are
Our Message
"God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through him." -- Jesus (John 3:17)
The Bible says that God made us in his image to know him and enjoy his goodness forever. But, since sin entered this world, we have all chosen our own ways instead of God's ways, and have preferred other things above him. The Bible says, "All have sinned and fall short of God's glory" and "the wages of sin is death" (Romans 3:23; 6:23). Our connection with God is broken and we can't bridge the gap.
The good news is that God offers us connection with himself in the person of his Son, Jesus Christ. When Jesus died on the cross, he took upon himself the punishment that we deserve for our sins. And when he rose from the dead, he proved that he truly is who he claimed to be: "I am the way, the truth and the life -- no one comes to the Father but through me" (John 14:6).
We experience connection with God by trusting Jesus and receiving him into our lives. The Bible says, "As many as received him, to them he gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in his name" (John 1:12).
Being connected to God is not a religion or a ritual -- it is a relationship that begins when we invite Jesus to forgive our sins and lead our lives. The Bible says, "God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life" (1 John 5:11-12).
If this makes sense to you, you can pray to begin a relationship with Jesus today. Tell him you are willing to turn from your own sinful ways and ask him to forgive you and begin leading your life.
We would like to help you experience a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Check out our Discovery Groups for more information.

By gracious powers so wonderfully sheltered, and confidently waiting come what may, we know that God is with us night and morning, and never fails to greet us each new day. Yet is this heart by its old foe tormented, still evil days bring burdens hard to bear; Oh, give our frightened souls the sure salvation for which, O Lord, You taught us to prepare. And when this cup You give is filled to brimming with bitter suffering, hard to understand, we take it thankfully and without trembling, out of so good and so beloved a hand. Yet when again in this same world You give us the joy we had, the brightness of Your Sun, we shall remember all the days we lived through, and our whole life shall then be Yours alone.
