Who we are
Welcome to Figtree Anglican Church
FAC is an evangelical church located in Figtree, a beautiful leafy suburb on the outskirts of the Wollongong CBD. FAC is part of the Sydney Anglican Diocese, under the leadership of Archbishop Glenn Davies. Our mission is to to build a community of grace, committed to making disciples of Jesus. Our vision is to be a faithful, adventurous and compassionate church with an expanding influence on communities, cities and nations with the hope and love of God.
Our Mission
Our Mission is to build a community of grace committed to making disciples of Jesus.
The Bible defines our purpose as one of glorifying God and enjoying Him forever. This is the foundation for everything we do as individuals and as a church.
Our mission flows out of this; a calling to build God’s kingdom by equipping followers of Jesus who will influence our culture by bringing the gospel to bear on all of life ie our mission is to make disciples.

Figtree Anglican Church Service Times
Sunday Services
We offer a range of difference worship services, where people of all ages and stages of life gather together. The music and format may vary between services, but the message will always be bible based, relevant and practical.
8am
Our early morning service is a classic service, using the Anglican Prayer Book. Join this faithful group who love to welcome new people of all ages into their community.
10am
This is a family friendly, contemporary service attractive for people of all ages and stages of life. There are also dynamic, age relevant programs for toddlers to kids in year 6, which runs at the same time as the service.
FUSE (6PM)
This service, also known as FUSE, is our evening service which aims to present the gospel in vibrant ways, with a special emphasis on reaching youth and young adults.
Mount Kembla
Begun in 1858, each Sunday morning, a small but faithful community of believers continues to gather for a traditional Anglican service held in the beautiful, heritage Soldiers’ and Miners’ Memorial Church (built in 1932) located in the village of Mt Kembla. A small Sunday School operates at the same time, in the local primary school.
A traditional Anglican Prayer Book service is held at 9:30am each Sunday.
Keiraville International Church (KIC) - 6pm
This service was started in partnership with St John’s Keiraville with the specific purpose (due to the location of the church), of reaching international students studying at the University of Wollongong. It is a wonderful opportunity for sharing the gospel with people from many nations, who are often hearing about Jesus for the very first time. The Sunday service of Keiraville International Church is held at 6pm.
It's been more than 7 years since the last service times update. Please make sure to contact the church to confirm service times.

We meet at 4, then head to FUSE at 6pm.
If you’re interested in coming along, contact one of the youth team so they can connect you with the appropriate year leader.

Light of the World
Jesus, the Light of the World, as we celebrate your birth... may we begin to see the world in the light of understanding you give us. As you chose the lowly, the outcasts, and the poor to receive the greatest news the world had ever known, so may we worship you in meekness of heart. May we also remember our brothers and sisters less fortunate than ourselves in this season of giving. Amen.
