We are delighted to have you with us. Whether you are new to Gulfport or the Mississippi Gulf Coast and seeking a new church home, or are exploring the claims of Christianity, we hope to help you get to know us a little better. We encourage you not only to join us for worship on Sundays but also to get involved in one or more of our church’s ministries.
FPC is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) an evangelical, Bible-believing denomination. We are committed to the historic Christian faith, the basic truths of which are summarized in the gospel (literally, the good news), that through Jesus Christ it is possible for you to know God personally. We believe that the Bible is our ultimate authority in matters of faith and life. And we, therefore, consciously seek to present as winsomely as possible the teachings of the Bible in our worship services and Sunday School classes; and we strive to live according to those teachings in our every day lives.
It is our desire that, as you worship and serve among us, you will encounter the absolute wonder of God’s grace (which really is greater than all our sins), the beauty of His holiness, and the richness of the fellowship of His church. Please let us know how we can help you unto this end.
