As United Methodists, we have an obligation to bear a faithful Christian witness to Jesus Christ, the living reality at the center of the Church’s life and witness. What We Believe...
We believe that it is God’s deepest desire to live in a relationship of love with every single one of His children, now and forever in heaven.
We believe that the only thing that interferes with our ability and willingness to accept this relationship with God is the sin that lives within us (Romans 7).
We believe that it is through faith in the life and death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and the practice of ongoing repentance, that the power of God’s love in our hearts can overcome the sin that lives in our hearts.
We believe that God invites each of us to life in the full presence of God’s love and forgiveness and acceptance through Jesus Christ, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, right now, right where we are, AND forever in heaven.
We welcome others into the family of God through the sacrament of baptism of infants, children, young people and adults by sprinkling, pouring or immersion.
We celebrate Holy Communion together on the first Sunday of every month.

Being a Christian is not so much about what we believe in our heads, as it is who we are in our hearts in everything we think and do and say, everywhere we go.

Rev. Quist started serving churches as a Student Local Pastor in the North Central New York Conference in 1990. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, and a Master of Divinity degree from Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University in Dallas Texas. Rev. Quist was ordained an elder in the former Southwest Texas Annual Conference in June of 1998.
