Welcome to First United Methodist of Pecos. We believe that we are called to be the hands and feet of Christ in our community. That belief shapes everything we do, from our worship on Sunday mornings to our outreach to the youth of our community through Scouting and our United Methodist Youth Fellowship. We find that when we express God’s love in the community around us, we experience God’s love in a deeper way. That experience binds us together as a body.

Parking
There is no designated parking for visitors. Entrance to our sanctuary is through the double doors facing Elm Street or through the 3rd Street entrance which includes a handicap ramp. Greeters at the Elm Street entrance will point you in the right direction and answer any questions you might have.

Dress however you like. You’ll see blue jeans and three-piece suits alike, and kind and loving folks that are genuinely happy to see you.

Under 12s:
We provide a nursery for children under the age of four. Children from age 4 through 5th grade are invited to Children's Time with the pastor during the worship service, as well as Children’s Church which immediately follows.

Fellowship - In addition to visiting with your friends and neighbors at our church before and after worship, 5th Sundays and other special observances provide opportunities to enjoy potluck meals in our Fellowship Hall.
