Who we are
We are a small but growing fellowship meeting not far from the centre of Salisbury. As a bible-believing Pentecostal church we enjoy lively worship and have strong faith in God’s power to work miracles today. We particularly welcome you to our informal meeting each Sunday morning to hear the bible preached and to meet with people whose lives God has changed.
We warmly welcome everyone to our meetings. We have a varied congregation from all backgrounds.
Our main Sunday meeting takes place in St Osmund's School at 10.45, but we also meet at other times during the week.
In addition to our regular weekly meetings we often have special services or social events for our church members, their families and friends.
We are keen to share our faith in Christ both in word and in action.
Our Sunday School operates during our main service each week. God has a special plan for every young person!
We provide a weekly activity club for young people on the Friary Estate, meeting in the Friary Community Hall at 7pm on Mondays during term time. Plus outings and camps during the school holidays.
Our messages are recorded for you to hear anything you've missed. Listen to God's word passionately taught and preached.

Local outreach & community activities
We are keen to share our faith in Christ both in word and in action. Before the limitations imposed by the pandemic we have been involved in running social activities, distributing literature and meeting people on the streets and in their homes. Sometimes we have done this in co-operation with other churches. For several years we have run the popular Alpha Course, providing an introduction to the Christian faith.
Much of our outreach activity is concentrated on the Friary council estate in Salisbury, where we have run regular clubs for children and young people, as well as one-off events for everyone. We have distributed a quarterly newsletter to each home, and we make sure everyone gets a Christmas card.
In addition we actively support a number of local Christian-based initiatives, as well as missions activity abroad.

Friary Christian Fellowship History
Our church here in Salisbury was started in April 1995 with just four people meeting in a hired room in Salt Lane.
Exactly 5 years later we were able to move our meetings to our own building, just a few yards away on the corner of Endless Street. This became the home of the 'Endless Life' Cafe for the next 10 years, with our church meetings being held in the room above.
In January 2006 our main meeting transferred to St. Osmund's School. This is situated in Carmelite Way on The Friary estate, where we have gradually become involved in the local community. We now run regular clubs there for children and young people.
Our church is part of a national group known as Assemblies of God - a fellowship of over 500 autonomous Pentecostal churches located throughout Great Britain.
Locally, we have close links with other evangelical churches who actively co-operate on a variety of joint activities, including prayer meetings, celebrations and outreach events.
The church was pioneered by the pastor Tony Wilson and his wife Ruth who continue to be our main leaders. Tony is responsible to a Church Council made up of senior leaders from other fellowships.
