Rev Jason and Damaris Scalzi are the lead pastors of Glad Tidings AOG.
Pastor Jason has been Ordained since May of 2014 with the New Jersey district. He is a retired Police Officer and has 17 years of Military Service. He is a Chaplain/Instructor with The Police Chaplain Program, Chaplain with the International Conference of Police Chaplains, Chaplain with the Assemblies of God and a Strategic Chaplain with the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team.
Pastor Jason has served as a Chaplain in Ferguson, MO, Baltimore, MD and Baton Rouge, Louisiana during times of civil unrest. Pastor Jason’s leadership experience in the Military and Law Enforcement gives him a uniqueness in outreach to the community.
Damaris is a creative writer & motivational speaker, and she holds a degree in social services. She is instrumental in motivating and inspiring others to learn the Word of God in a deeper and more personal way as the Director of Education at Glad Tidings AOG.
Pastor Jason and Damaris have been involved in church ministry for 10 years. Together, they have counseled couples in marriage, one-on-one and in group settings, young adults, middle schoolers, and individuals. As well as hosted and organized events (concerts, guest speakers, conferences), and life groups. What makes their ministry unique, is their ability to minister to people from all walks of life, including sharing the gospel in a safe environment with first responders. They are proud parents of three children: Steven, Luke and Rachel.
Pastor Jason and Damaris are truly honored to serve Glad Tidings AOG as their Shepherd. They believe as the body of Messiah partners together to reach the lost, both Jew and Gentile, God's blessings will be manifested in their lives. The best is yet to come!

Under 12s:
G.T. Kids-ages 5 & up
We fully believe that kids should have the opportunity to learn as well! We encourage you to bring your children with you to Sunday School. Kids have a faith that is so pure and we encourage them to be a part of Worship with us. G.T. Kids starts upstairs with the adults for worship and then head downstairs, where they will have their own worship and message in faith that meets them on their level. We use the program, DIG IN by Group Publishing. In this series, GT Kids is "Diggin' in the Bible in One Year." They learn a memory verse every week and have hands on lessons, snacks and activities that all go in sync with their lesson. In Matthew 19:14, Jesus tells us to let the children come to him. We know he desires for them to build their own relationship with him, and we want to help in building a solid foundation for their faith.
Toddler Church-ages 2-5
Our Toddler Church will begin at 10:30AM. They have their own classroom, downstairs, where you can drop them off and meet their teacher. Toddlers have a lesson all their own that helps them to learn stories from the bible. They will get a lesson and an activity to help them remember what they learned.

We start our Sunday Mornings with Sunday School at 9:30AM and lasts about 45 min. We offer classes for children, ages 3 to 18, and adults. Our adult class meets downstairs by the kitchen for an informal teaching and discussion. This is a perfect opportunity to learn the Word and hear how God is working through other believers. Plus, you can grab a cup of coffee while you learn.
Worship Service-10:30AM
We love people and you are our Guest, so when you join our Worship Service, you are guaranteed to be met with a friendly handshake and a warm welcome. One of our greeters will be able to guide you with any questions you may have while you are here, and give you a Welcome Card to fill out and drop in the offering so we can continue to connect with you. Come as you are, you can dress up or wear jeans and t-shirts, we have no dress code.
The Worship Team starts off our Service at 10:30AM. Praise and Worship is a time of celebration to God for His greatness, so we encourage you to join in! You can stand, you can sing, you can be silent, come as you are and celebrate the Lord!
After worship, you will have the opportunity to hear some awesome happenings at Glad Tidings, and then Pastor Jason will bring a message that we hope will inspire you and challenge you throughout the week.
