The Children’s Ministries at Glen Haven Baptist Church reveals that children and families are very important to us. Our mission is for all children to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. We want children to know Jesus, grow in that knowledge of Him, and to learn how to share Jesus with others. We hope that all who come feel welcome and loved at Glen Haven. We’d love for your child to join us for a great time of worship, interactive lessons, and learning more about Jesus Christ at 10:30 am each Sunday in the Children’s Church room upstairs!

On Wednesday nights from 6:45-8:00 PM, we have a great program that incorporates live music, scripture memory, fun tracks for all kids, & great theme nights!

History of GHBC
Glen Haven Baptist Church began in 1947 with a small group of believers meeting in a local school building in Decatur, GA. That group called Pastor Randy and Doris Hardeman to lead them. Since that time, God has led, moved, and grown Glen Haven into the church you see today. God has used Randy Hardeman (Pastor 1947-1983), Ralph Easterwood (Pastor 1983-2010), and Stan Berrong (Pastor 2010-2020) to lead Glen Haven to impact our community and the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Senior Pastor Brady Howard is continuing the work of these great men, and Glen Haven is moving to the future pursuing God’s purpose and plan.
