When our church was founded 50 years ago, our name was chosen because we believe that we are all called to be Good Samaritans, doing good for those around us and in our broader world.
We are a place where: everyone is welcome; faith development is encouraged in a positive, non-judgmental way; there is meaningful worship with excellent and varied music; there is a dynamic children’s program and a strong, multi-faceted program for teens, with parental support; there are numerous opportunities for service to others; we all have an opportunity for close, life-long friendships.
We share a vision of “opening hearts and minds in a divided world.” All ministries and activities are open to everyone; you do not have to be a member of Good Samaritan to participate. We hope to meet you soon.

Leader Bio:
Pastor Pat Hinker is a trained interim pastor who ministers with churches in times of transition. After careers in teaching and business, she was called into ordained ministry in mid-life. She has served rural, urban and suburban congregations throughout Minnesota. She had the opportunity to serve as Director of Ministries for the Minnesota Annual Conference, and District Superintendent of the Southwest District, gaining valuable experience in helping churches envision their future. She retired in 2011, but her daughter, Amy, has said that she is flunking retirement!
Her response is that “Retirement is the opportunity to do what you love!” – and so she has continued to do what she loves: serving as an interim pastor, working with churches as a consultant and pastors as a coach to bring healing, focus, hope and plans for living into the the future that God intends for them.

Children are always welcome at Good Samaritan.
Our worship service includesa time for children. It comes early in the service after which the children leave to go to their various Sunday School classes. Children’s Worship Bags and Children’s Bulletins are available as you enter the sanctuary.
On Sundays when there is a baptism or communion children are welcomed and invited to participate.
