Growing in grace, as a people at peace.
“For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God” (Ephesians 3:14-19). That is the apostle Paul’s prayer for the believers in Ephesus, and it is my prayer for you. I invite you to join us at Grace & Peace as we seek to grow in knowledge of God and His love to us in Jesus Christ through worshiping together and studying the Bible together, as well as responding to His love to us by loving and serving the people and community around us.

Pastor Matt Wood is the founding Pastor of Grace and Peace, sent by Redeemer Presbyterian Church in McKinney, Texas. As G.a.P. continues to grow, we are seeking strong men of God to serve as leading and serving elders of our fellowship.
Our pastor, Matt Wood, was raised in Northeast Georgia and graduated from the University of Georgia in 2002. Matt married Alisha in 2004 and moved to the Dallas area in 2006 to begin seminary at Westminster Theological Seminary-Dallas. During seminary and after graduating in 2010, Matt served as an intern at Denton Presbyterian Church, PCA in Denton, TX. In 2011 the Woods moved to the Anna area to join the work at Grace & Peace, and Matt was ordained as a teaching elder in the PCA in March 2012. Matt and Alisha live in Melissa with their two children, Elisabeth and John David. In his spare time, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, reading, jogging, and drinking coffee.

Come as you are, but expect to be changed. We believe that none of us can make ourselves worthy of God, but He graciously reaches out and makes us worthy in Jesus Christ. He receives us as we are, but He never leaves us as we are. By His grace, we are transformed to live the way that He created us to live. So don’t think you have to get your act together or make yourself worthy in some way before you can come to church. Just come as you are and receive the grace of God. You will never be the same.
