Who we are
We’re ordinary people from all walks of life, united in a conviction that God has demonstrated His infinite and unconquerable love for this world of ours in His Son, Jesus Christ, who shared our human life, was cruelly put to death and who overcame death when he was raised to new life.
God’s love has been an essential part of our lives, and we believe that He wants us to share that love with those around us.
You may have noticed our strap line:
committed to loving, serving and sharing Jesus.
We express our love for Jesus in our worship We serve Jesus by working in our local community We share Jesus through our life together and in our friendship with those who use our facilities
We are one of many Christian communities who worship God in Stourbridge. We enjoy close links with the other churches and work together in many practical ways. Click on OUR NETWORKS for more information about the Stourbridge Christian scene.

Hanbury Hill Baptist Church Service Times
Sunday Mornings 10.30am
Informal, friendly and welcoming.
Crèche and groups for children and teenagers
This is our main weekly service, the time when we get together as a community. It usually lasts about an hour and a quarter. We are always delighted to welcome visitors.
Sunday Evenings 6.30pm
Our evening meeting include prayer, songs, a reading from the Bible and a talk about how God is relevant to us today. Although we are flexible about the content of the service, the style is often quieter and more traditional than our morning service. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday evening each month.
It's been more than 8 years since the last service times update. Please make sure to contact the church to confirm service times.

Children and Teenagers
Hanbury Hill is a very child-friendly church!
We always have a time for the children during our Sunday morning worship before they go off to their own activities, and we also have a regular pattern of all-age services.
Anyone bringing children to a service will sense that they are welcome and seen as a real part of the community.
During the week, a dozen or so of the adults in our fellowship give their time to our two Girls' Brigade companies and our Boys' Brigade (click on the links for details of each one). In all, we reckon that about 130 young people come to one or other of these activities each week. We think that this is a great contribution to the life our community.
Litle Angels caters for children under school age and their carers - Mums mainly, but a good sprinkling of Dads and Grandparents.
For teenagers who want to explore the Christian faith and reflect on what it means to be a disciple of Jesus, we have Inspire, a group which meets regularly in a home - a time to chill out and chat.
