Family: He grew up in the foothills of North Carolina but got to Texas as soon as God allowed! He has a wonderful wife, Jenny, and an adorable son, Thomas.
Education: TW got his B.A. in Biblical Studies from Milligan College, located in East Tennessee. He got his Masters of Arts in Religion from Kentucky Christian University.
Favorite Food/Restaurant: TW loves macaroni and cheese, pizza, and wings. You can often find him hanging out wherever good food abounds!
Favorite Sports Team: His favorite teams are the Carolina Panthers, Duke basketball, the Atlanta Braves, and the Toronto Maple Leafs by association.
Bible Verse: The bearded TW has an affinity for the words of Samson, which say: “If I am shaved, then my strength will leave me and I will become weak and be like any other man.” Judges 16:17b
Something most people don’t know about him: One of his goals is to visit all 30 of the Major League Baseball stadiums. Working on it... only a handful left!
Why does he love Highpoint? TW loves our Church community and the way that we are a tribe that encourages, meets needs, and truly loves one another for who we are.
