At Holy Spirit Church we desire to be a church family that forms disciples, lives generously, and shares God’s love in our neighborhoods. Our community worships God in the Anglican tradition, witnesses about Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord, and walks daily with the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We seek to remain connected to ancient Christian beliefs and practices, while at the same time making these available to present and future generations in the College Area of San Diego. We are members of the Anglican Church in North America that seeks to reach North America with the transforming love of Jesus Christ.

Leader Bio:
Brian serves as the Rector (Head Pastor) of Holy Spirit Anglican Church. As rector, Fr. Brian leads the rest of the staff in serving the congregation by overseeing the worship of the church, preaching, teaching, and leading discipleship efforts so that all might be formed as disciples of Jesus.
Fr. Brian first came to Holy Spirit Anglican Church in the fall of 2012 to serve as the part-time assistant. In September 2014 he was called to be full time, and then was made rector in September of 2016. Fr. Brian studied at Trinity School for Ministry outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, graduating with his Masters of Divinity in 2012. Since graduating, he has served as an adjunct professor for Hebrew and Old Testament for Trinity.
Fr. Brian is married to Mandy and they have two daughters and one son. They both enjoy coffee and baseball. Fr. Brian is an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and loves to read Old Testament studies, philosophy, and the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.
