Who we are
Holy Temple Ministries was founded in 1976 by Bishop James D. Brinkley Sr., and Elsie P. Brinkley. Holy Temple Ministries is dedicated to changing the quality of the lives of God's people through practical principles found in the Word. We are raising and equipping God's army and unleashing them for kingdom building and carrying the standard of Holy Living into the new age.
We believe that real ministry is shared experience where the community of faith joins hands to bring into fruition God's plan and purpose.
We recognize the importance of and the power from Praise and Worship. We are a Word believing church constantly searching the scriptures for revelation, inspiration and divine impartation.
We Believe in God, the Father, The Almighty, the Creator of Heaven and Earth. We believe in Jesus Christ, His Son, our Savior and Lord. Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilot, was crucified, died and buried. He descended into hell, and the third day rose from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, from whence he shall come to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Christian Church, the communion of the saints, the forgiveness of sin, the resurrection of the body and everlasting life.

Holy Temple Ministries exists for the purpose of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, in seeking and saving those who are lost. We accepted this mandate with joy and practice the good news of Jesus Christ, which liberates men and women from sin.
"And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God:" ~ Luke 8:1
