Holy Trinity Orthodox Church History
In 1906, settlers from the Halychyna area of Ukraine began construction of this church in the Poplar Park area of the Rural Municipality of St. Clements. The first service was held in the spring of that year. Originally Greek Catholic, it was later converted to the Orthodox Church. The building, containing pre-revolutionary Russian icons, was renovated in 1929. Immediately north of the church building is a small cemetery. A plaque beside the church was dedicated on 11 June 2006 by the St. Clements Heritage Advisory Committee.

Give me a steadfast heart
Give me, O Lord, a steadfast heart which no unworthy thought can drag downwards; an unconquered heart which no tribulation can wear out; an upright heart which no unworthy purpose may tempt aside. Bestow upon me also, O Lord my God, understanding to know you, diligence to seek you, wisdom to find you, and a faithfulness that may finally embrace you; through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
