Kids Church is a place where children (K – 4th Grade) come together to worship, learn about Jesus, & have lots of FUN!
Each weekend at Kids Church, children hear an age appropriate message that incorporates exciting games, and gospel illustrations to help kids understand and retain what they are learning. Everything in Kids Church is designed to be a fun and innovative way for children to learn about their relationship with Jesus Christ. Kids will get to worship and interact with others and be surrounded by love and support as they grow in their faith.
Kids Church takes place at every weekend service.

The Living Nativity is free to attend! We hope you will join us this Christmas Season here at Horizon.

Horizon Christian Fellowship History
Horizon Christian Fellowship North County traces its history to Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, and Pastor Chuck Smith. Pastor Chuck founded Calvary Chapel in the late 60’s in a time when most traditional churches were turning away the next generation because of the length of their hair and the counter-culture life style that they practiced. Driven by a burden for that generation, Pastor Chuck reached out to them with love and understanding and without compromise of Christian principles.
Pastor Mike MacIntosh, an assistant to Pastor Chuck, felt led to begin a home Bible study in San Diego in 1973, and by the summer of 1976, Horizon Christian Fellowship was officially started. In 1993, a Horizon church plant was started in San Diego’s North County at the Del Mar Hilton. It began with less than 60 people and Pastor Mike handed over the pastoring responsibilities to one of his assistant pastors, Bob Botsford. With the completion of the current facility in Rancho Santa Fe, the church has taken off. In addition to ministering to over 3,000 people weekly, Horizon Christian Fellowship supports a variety of missionaries and mission organizations, so the true impact of God’s work through Horizon is one of global proportions.
