River Kids
Joyful Noise is a weekly music and movement play group that is taught 'parent and me' style. Little ones will play bells, maracas, drums, and other instruments as we learn the basics of beat and pitch to fun worship songs. We'll sing, dance, and work out our wiggles in exciting ways. Help us encourage all of God’s children to make a 'joyful noise' to the Lord!
Time: Friday's from 9:30 - 10:30 AM; open play begins at 9:15 AM and follows after the class
Location: Indian River Presbyterian Church (2499 Virginia Ave, Fort Pierce); signs will be posted leading to the room
We think ages 6 months - 4 years old will most enjoy Joyful Noise. That said, younger and older siblings are welcome!
And it's FREE!!!!! No RSVP required!
Sunday River Kids
Birth - PreK
We offer Christ-centered childcare for little ones aged 0-4 years old. Our team of background-checked and trained volunteers is eager to provide a safe and engaging environment for each child to play, connect with others, and enjoy their time at church. Parents are encouraged to check-in and drop off their young children for childcare before the worship service begins.
Elementary
Older kids are encouraged to start their Sunday experience singing with everyone in the Sanctuary. Right before the sermon, the church will cheer and clap as the kids are to transition to our River Kids rooms for the remainder of the service. There, our River Kids Team will guide them through a dynamic, interactive experience that involves music, prayer, a Bible lesson, small group discussion, and a craft exercise that solidifies the message for the week

Our thriving group of middle and high school students meets every Wednesday from 6:00pm - 8:15pm in the Sample Fellowship Hall. Each gathering includes dinner, games, a deep dive into scripture, and small group discussions to help each student engage, ask questions, and grow.
Partnering with Parents/Caregivers
We know that the biggest influence in each student’s spiritual journey is you! Our River Students Team is eager to connect with and resource parents/caregivers as they continue to raise up their students in the faith. Don’t know where to start on having a spiritual conversation with your teen?
