Who we are
Do you KNOW where you will spend eternity? Are you 100% sure you will go to heaven when you die? If you could not answer "yes", please read on!
The Bible tells us that we can know we're going to heaven.
God said: "These things have I written... that ye may know that ye have eternal life..." - 1 John 5:13
First, we must know that we don't deserve to go to heaven.
"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one." - Romans 3:10 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." - Romans 3:23
Second, we must know how we became sinners.
"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned." - Romans 5:12
Third, we must realize God's penalty for sin.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." - Romans 6:23
Fourth, there is only one way to heaven.
"But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me." - John 14:6
Fifth, what we must do.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed." - Romans 10:9-11 God's "whosoever" means you!
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." - Romans 10:13

Grant us grace
0 Lord our God, grant us grace to desire Thee with our whole heart; that, so desiring, we may seek, and seeking find Thee; and so finding Thee may love Thee; and loving Thee, may hate those sins from which Thou hast redeemed us.
