Who we are
Jubilee Church was formed in 1998 when a group of local Christians started to meet together in Teesside.
At the same time Jeremy Simpkins was invited to come and lead this new church.
In 2009 Jeremy moved on to lead a church in Manchester and Paul Woodward came to Teesside to lead Jubilee.
We now gather over 250 people every Sunday morning, 10:30am at the Macmillan Academy Learning Centre, all ages, all backgrounds and all cultures!
Our main vision is built around Isaiah 61 v1-4, which we explain more fully on our vision pages.
We are part of ChristCentral, which is part of newfrontiers - an international family of churches. We are also part of the Evangelical Alliance - which links us with thousands of similar churches across the UK and more locally to churches in the Tees Valley.

Jubilee Church Teesside Service Times
Jubilee Church Meetings are informal and relaxed.
The Sunday morning meeting starts at 10.30am with worship, using contempory songs and instruments and sometimes even traditional hymns. We desire the worship to honour Jesus, be vibrant and dynamic and open to the direction of the Holy Spirit.
The worship is followed by teaching from the Bible, given by one of the leaders of Jubilee or a guest speaker.
We end with tea & coffee and a chance to chat for those who can stay on.

Help my unbelief
Dear God, help my unbelief. When I'm in pain, I forget that you care about me. I forget that you have helped me through my trials. I forget that you hold me in your arms to keep me safe. I forget that you are feeling my pain with me. I forget that you love me, I forget that I am important to you. Show me your presence - let me feel your enveloping love. Heal my hurting soul. Thank you for staying with me even in my unbelief.
