Jubilee United Pentecostal Apostolic Church History

Our History

Jubilee Church was established on March of 1992 in the city of Ottawa when Pastor Carmen Hamilton received a call from the Lord to start a church in her community. Pastor Hamilton began the church with her children and 10 other children from the neighbourhood. Jubilee's first community service was held in a Recreational Community Centre located in the south side of Ottawa. Jubilee Church soon after became a daughter work under Calvary United Pentecostal Church under the direction of Bishop G.A. Hanscom. After one year of ministry in this small community center, Jubilee Church outgrew this facility and relocated to a larger building. In 1993, Jubilee Church relocated to the Carleton Memorial Church building which has been our main place of worship for the past 20 years.
