About Living Word Church of God La Salle have been here in La Salle in this community for over 50 plus years.

We are a caring and loving church. We are spirit filled. We believe in the verbal inspiration of the Bible. One God eternally, existing in 3 persons, the Father, Son, Holy Spirit living Word Church of God, we believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that He rose from the dead on the 3rd day, and that He is the only way to God.... ( Jesus is the way, and the truth, and the life.) John 14:6.
Our Mission in La Salle Living Word Church of God
To restore those that are lost and hurting in our community with compassion and dignity bringing the Light of Jesus Christ into places of spiritual darkness. " Coming out of darkness into His wonderful light" 1Peter 2:9
We are in the Church of God, Cleveland Tennessee, WE ARE SPIRIT FILLED DENOMINATION made of up to 7 million members world wide.
About our denomination - the Church of God Cleveland, TN.
COG "The Church of God began on August 19, 1886, in Monroe County, Tennessee, near the North Carolina border.
Former Baptist Richard Green Spurling preached in a millhouse along Barney Creek and eight persons formed a Christian Union for the purpose of following the New Testament as their rule for faith and practice, giving each other equal rights and privilege to interpret Scripture, and sitting together as the church of God. Twenty-one years later the growing movement formally adopted the name Church of God.
Opposition to this doctrine led to severe persecution, but a spirit of revival prevailed and the Holiness believers experienced an outpouring of the Holy Spirit that included speaking in tongues and divine healing. Such experiences prepared the way for the explosion of the Pentecostal movement in the early twentieth century.

Cres Rios holds Church of God credentials as an Ordained Bishop and studied through the ministerial Internship Program through Lee University, Cleveland Tennessee.
Pamela his wife also went through the ministerial internship program and she serves along side her husband, together in the ministry to God’s people.
They have grown up in La Salle, attended it’s schools and been a part of the community for more than 50+ years. They live in Oglesby.
We have two grown Children:
Andrea Dyer: husband Jason, and their son Jacob: Wife Abby, their two sons Ryder, Jordan, Jacob (now serving in the United States Army).
Matthew Rios: Wife Tina, and their two sons Corbin and Owen.
Pamela his wife also went through the ministerial internship program and she serves along side her husband, together in the ministry to God’s people.

Also we have classes for the younger children
We have youth and teen fellowship scheduled
activities throughout the year.
