Who we are
Lakeland Lutheran Church is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada, a fellowship of people living under the Triune God. We worship the Heavenly Father as Creator, the Son, Jesus Christ as Redeemer, and the Holy Spirit as Sanctifier.
The authority of our faith and life is the Word of God.
By grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ we are justified before God. In response to his undeserved love for us, we commit ourselves to loving him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to loving our neighbour as ourselves. (Mark 12:30-31)
In, with, and through God’s power we seek to make disciples of all nations. (Matthew 28:18-20)
Our mission field is those who are not active in another Christian Church. Through life-long learning of, and growing in faith, through loving care of one another, and through regular and frequent worship and prayer, God will equip, renew, and strengthen all disciples in this fellowship to continue building his kingdom.

Lakeland Lutheran Church Service Times
Sunday service is 10:00AM with Holy Communion served on a regular basis.
Sunday school, ages 4-10, is during worship time.
A nursery/crying-room (washroom attached) is available, stocked with toys and comfortable chairs where you can hear the service.
Due to the rise in Covid-19 cases in the Lakeland area we will be returning to online worship. Be assured, as soon as we are able to go back to in person worship we will.

Lord, for tomorrow and its needs, I do not pray; Keep me, my God, from stain of sin just for today. Let me both diligently work, And duly pray. Let me be kind in word and deed, Just for today. Let me be slow to do my will, Prompt to obey; Help me to sacrifice myself Just for today. And if today my tide of life should ebb away, Give me thy sacraments divine, Sweet Lord today.
