At LHBC we have put into words what we believe the Biblical mission of the church is all about. At the heart of each of these statements are people who matter to God.
We purpose to:
Reach People For Christ – share the Gospel message with each other and our community.
Disciple People In Christ – grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus.
Release People For Ministry – serve God in the ways He has gifted us to bring glory to His name.
As an expression of the above mission statement, we desire to be a church that is built on a model of health, practicing the ‘one anothers’ in Scripture (love one another, forgive one another, serve one another, etc). We see five components of health in the way the New Testament Church functioned in Acts 2:42-47. Therefore, we purpose to be a church that is:
Growing warmer through fellowship
Growing deeper through discipleship
Growing stronger through worship
Growing broader through service
Growing larger through outreach

Nursery (ages newborn – 2.5)
Our bright and well-equipped nursery is staffed with loving, caring and attentive workers. You can feel free to attend the church service knowing that children are being cared for in a safe and loving environment. Biblical songs, games, activities and stories will be provided.
Kiddie Quest (ages 2.5 – age 4)
Kids love this curriculum-based ministry! It offers a fun, age-appropriate introduction to the Bible, and its stories and lessons. The leaders and helpers share God’s love, interacting through the use of stories, lessons, crafts, music, play & snack.
Jr. Quest and Kid’s Quest (k – 6)
Jr Quest (k-grade1) and Kid’s Quest (grade 2-6) uses fun, exciting and Bible-centered curriculums that teach, entertain, and answer the important life questions! Children and leaders meet in a large-group setting where they worship, listen and interact with the Up-Front Leaders who creatively present the lesson through drama, story or other forms. They then break off into small-groups with children their own age where the emphasis is on life application of the Bible lesson, and building relationship with their leaders and peers. This is a FUN, interactive, one-on-one time to explore their faith and challenge themselves into a lasting relationship with their Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Ignite student ministries exists to: Reach students for Christ Disciple students in Christ and Release students for ministry Life can be tough and confusing with so many people and things trying to get our attention. It’s nice to have a place where people care and are going through the same things and where we talk about school, family, faith, and how to make sense of it all. Plus we really like hanging out and having a good time. Why Ignite? — Well, it is our desire to be people who have a burning passion for Jesus and the things He cares about. Join us Monday Nights 6:30 – 8:30
